Murugadoss Thuppaki To Be Changed As Saravedi..

AR Murugadoss is making a film titled Thuppaki with Vijay and Kajal Agarwal playing the lead roles. The film is due for release on November 13 the Diwali festival day.

However, the title of the film is involved in a legal tangle. The producers of another Tamil film titled Kallathuppaki filed a case in the court seeking a ban on Thuppaki as it is similar to their title.
The case was heard in the court on September 10 and a judgement will be delivered on September 17.
According to sources, if the court gives an adverse judgement, then AR Murugadoss will rename the film as Saravedi. Because of the title tangle, the promos of the film could not be released.
