The Yash Raj Films production to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has been titled Gunday. The movie features Ranveer Singh
and Arjun Kapoor as black-marketing mafia gangsters. This is a period
film set in the 1970s Mumbai. Pre-production works are in progress and
the rest of the cast and crew are being finalised, including the leading
ladies.
Ali Abbas Zafar was part of the direction wing and assisted for films like Badmash Company, New York, Tashan, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Marigold among others. He made his directorial debut with the hit film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starring Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Pakistani actor Ali Zafar.
